sadescription Of Some Animals and their Movements in their Respective Habitats
6mn   b/w   stéréo   2007   Spain
by Toni Crabb
The film studies the movements of different animals in the spaces they inhabit – normally spaces shared with humans – in order to question how constructed habitat sets up, or is itself configured by, our relationships with others. A range of different habitats is exhibited, going from the cat in a domestic environment, to a caged zoo animal, to city pigeons.

sadescription Back to the Humanity
4mn   b/w   stéréo   2007   Finland
by Seppo Renvall
"Back to the Humanity" is a video about industrialisation, the all-mighty power of the machines and the destructivity which can't be separated from them. We see car crashes, bullets shots etc. in extremely slow motion, with Zape Leppänens music, based on the sounds of steam engines. Images are originally shot by the inventor Harri Vanhala with the special camera that can shoot 10 000 frames/sec.

sadescription Seven kilometers from here
7mn45   color   stéréo   2008   Argentina
by Nicolás Testoni & Marcelo Díaz & Ricardo De Armas
"Seven kilometres from here" is an experimental portrait of Ingeniero White, a coastal town in the south of Argentina. In the last decades, this port has changed dramatically since a large petrochemical complex was built there. In this work we try to establish a connection between old domestic films, and industrial sounds recently recorded. Silent Super 8 movies, on one hand; digital hi-fi capture of engines roar and workers wishpers, on the other; and between them, the chance to process the audiovisual archive for a future memory.

sadescription Nature Morte -Still Life
4mn30   b/w   stéréo   2007   Finland
by Juha Van Ingen
The silent actors of a natural history museum turn into a fluid and semi abstract flow of shapes and patterns. The preserved beasts are brought to life by the camera movements to perform an ambient dreamlike dance. The sound track comes from a world beyond the museum doors. The looped sentimental sound of a Bollywood B-film star creates a link to the modern world where emotions and moments are preserved on to film and hard disks.

Kaleidoscope consisted by waste elements of our body forms intimately poetic motives, in evolving in the zone of visibility bounded by a light circle, as a symbol of the perpetual cycle of life. Feigning the phantasmagorical and spangled image like a dream, glorifying the rubbishes of our organic body.
